2015-2016 Charter School Lottery

Please check back at a later for enrollment dates.


  • You must obtain a Prince George’s County Public School student number for your child (this number is required to complete the charter school lottery application) to obtain a student number contact the school assigned for your home address to make arrangements to obtain a student number.
  • Take your child’s original birth certificate and your proof of Prince George’s County resident (you may use one of the following deed, settlement papers, lease, or rental agreement) if you have residence other than the aforementioned please call the Pupil Accounting School Boundaries Office at 301.952.6300.
  • Maryland State Law requires that a child be 5 years of age on or before September 1 to enter Kindergarten. We must abide by this law; therefore, if your child will be 5 years of age AFTER September 1 you cannot apply for lottery placement to a Charter School for Kindergarten.

Important Dates

Friday October 31 is two-hour early dismissal for students. Dismissal will begin at 12:40pm.

School is closed Monday November 3 and Tuesday November 4.

Red Ribbon Week 2014

Monday, October 27th – Friday, October 31st is Red Ribbon Week. Please see the following events that students can participate in to celebrate the week:

- Monday, October 27 is “It takes GRIT to be healthy and fight breast cancer” Day. Students may wear PINK to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

- Tuesday, October 28 is “Drugs are CRAZY” Day. Students may wear crazy hairstyles and the craziest socks they have.

Wednesday, October 29 is “RED for Red Ribbon Week” Day. Students may wear red tops with their khaki uniform bottoms.

Thursday, October 30 is “Men Make a Difference” and “Team up against drugs” Day. Students and male role models may wear their favorite sports team jersey. 

Friday, October 31 is “Harvesting Heroes” Day and Parade. Students should come to school dressed as a character that shows “GRIT” from his/her favorite book, and should bring that book to school.
