Program Descriptions:
*Game Design/Introductory Coding in Scratch (Senior Camp only):
Campers will learn the basics of coding through an interactive, block-based coding program. Scratch is useful for building digital games so after establishing a basic understanding of Scratch, campers will be able to design and eventually play some of their own games.
Arts and Crafts:Campers will create various artistic projects that they will be able to cherish afterwards. All needed materials will be simple, safe, and commonly found at home, so no one should worry about not being able to participate due to a lack of artistic tools.
Music: Campers will learn about music. They will be exposed to different genres of singing and musical instruments and will learn to listento various fun types of music. Additionally, Senior Camp will begin to take a look at digital music and the process of recording.
Math:This program will be like no ordinary math class. Campers can review challenging math concepts from the previous year and learn some new ones but they will also participate in several interactive activities proven to excite and engage and totally change their attitude toward math.
Sports/Exercise:Campers will get to both engage in virtual sports and exercise activities led by their counselors and to discuss and watch sports with their entire group. We will go into just about every major sport you can think of, and, by the end of the program, your camper will be more excited than you ever could have imagined about sports and exercise.
