Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you are having a relaxing and safe summer with your families. We are eager to start this year with meaningful learning opportunities, rigorous instruction, and enrichment opportunities for all community members as we build on our “Imagine, Plan, Achieve!” theme.
We are at an exciting time in the history of Imagine Foundations at Morningside Public Charter School with our recent charter renewal - and we have exciting opportunities planned for the continued growth and success of our teachers and scholars.
After reviewing observational data and analyzing feedback from staff, families, and scholars, we have refined our school mission and vision statement to reflect our core values and beliefs that all our scholars bring strengths and deserve rigorous academic preparation, opportunity knowledge, and confidence for self-agency.
Our Mission & Vision

- We must identify and cultivate our scholars’ innate gifts and talents by creating rigorous learning experiences within a responsive environment,
- To ensure our scholars are college and career ready for global citizenship.
We continue to emphasize an invitation for you to be present on campus in your scholars’ education this school year. Take time to engage in school assemblies and volunteer opportunities. Also, consider joining the PTO and attending meetings to provide input and support for our scholars and school community. Your collaborative support is essential as we strive to provide our scholars with the social and intellectual skills to imagine a better world, create actionable plans, and achieve their goals.
Please note homeroom teacher assignments/scholar schedules will be available on Schoolmax. Additionally, updated Parent-Student Handbooks will be distributed digitally during Back-to-School Night.
